Approaching others with an open mind, getting genned up on things you didn’t know much about before, understanding how things hang together, transposing information into a different cultural context and linguistic idiom. Interpreting is never a matter of routine, and for me that makes it one of the most fascinating jobs in existence.

  • 1977 interpreting degree in Saarbrücken
  • Since 1977 freelance conference interpreter and translator for French, German and English
  • Member of aiic (International Association of Conference Interpreters)
  • Selected specials: banking & finance, business and economics, real estate, corporate networking and alliances, work organisation, law, politics
  • Enthusiastic about lots of things – except Mozart and subwoofer basses. Secret passion: designing living spaces.
